Join us for for an incredible week in Germany and Austria!!
Break out your lederhosen and dirndls, you’ll be hoisting your steins in Bavaria and Franconia! An excellent trip for history lovers and beer drinkers. We’ll be staying two nights in historic Nuremberg, three nights in lovely Munich, and three nights in stunning Salzburg!  Day trips include visiting Neuschwanstein, a hike along the Funf Seidla Steig in the Franconian Alps, Kehlstein (Eagles Nest) and Konigsee in Berchtesgaden. 

Join Bryan Kirchmeyer of Old First Ward Brewing and other local brewing luminaries as we take in some of the finest lagers in the world!

From the time you step off the plane you’ll be drinking Helles, Pilsners, and Weisbier from some of the oldest breweries in the world, including Weihenstephaner, Schonrammer, and Augustiner (both of them!)

Price includes round trip air fare from Buffalo to Munich and ALL fuel surcharges and departure taxes, two nights at the 4 star NH Collection Nuremberg adjacent to the lovely Old Town historic city center, three nights at the 4 star NH Collection Munich City, and 3 nights in 4 star Arte Hotel with the best views in all of Salzburg, private motorcoach transfers throughout Germany and Austria, full breakfast each morning, a guided introductory walking tour of Nuremberg, Munich and Salzburg, and a pre-departure orientation before we go!

It all starts on American Airlines flight 1203 from Buffalo Niagara (BUF) to Charlotte (CLT) scheduled to depart at 10:38am Buffalo time.

Then it's American Airlines flight 716 from Charlotta (CLT) to Munich (MUC), departing at 4:25pm.

Day Two - Friday, May 16th

Fly into Munich (MUC) and arrive at 7:15 AM

Once there, our Coach awaits for a short hop to the worlds oldest brewery: Weihenstephaner. Beers for breakfast!

Next, we head to Nuremberg where after we check in, we will head out on walking tour of the Old City before we have a tasting of the local specialty, Rotbier. (Red beer) at AlmosMueller.

Day Three - Saturday, May 17th

10 AM Coach to Weißenohe for hike on Fünf-Seidla-Steig

Hike the Franconian Alps! This is a great 10km/6 mile hike with 5 breweries/Bräustüberls along the way. Located in the Franconian Alps we walk through hop fields, cherry orchards and then into small Franconian villages. Grab a passport and get stamped at each beer garden, and after, you get a stein. Each one is a bit different than the other. 

Afterwords, either head back to Weißenohe for a group dinner, or head back to Nuremberg for a night on own.

We’re off to the Bavarian capital Munich!

After we check our bags at the hotel, we’ll head out to see the sights, Marienplatz, English Garden, Hofbrauhaus Munich and more!

Afterwards you can check in with the rest of the day on your own!

Today we head to the Bavarian Alps to take in the beautiful Neuschwanstein built by Ludwig II!

After immersing ourselves in the architecture and the stunning views, we head for lunch at Schlossbrau, with views of the castle and surroundings. Back to Munich for dinner!

Many things to do! Dachau, BMW Museum, multiple beer halls, and great shopping! Cuckoo Clocks, Lederhosen, Drindls, ceramic steins all available!

Back on the coach to head down to Austria! First we will stop at Brauhaus Schonrammer for lunch and possibly the best Pilsner in the world!

After lunch, it’s down to Mozart’s birthplace, Salzburg. Check in to the hotel and night on your own!

In the morning, we will have a walking tour of Salzburg, perhaps one of prettiest cities in Europe.

Afterwards, the day is on your own to check out the restaurants, Fortress Hohensalzburg, or some of the best Biergarten’s in Europe! Brewers in the group will be heading to Augustiner.

Early Coach ride to Berchestgaden!

First stop: Kehlstein (Eagles Nest). Ascend the “golden elevator” to Hitler’s Eyrie and take in the stunning views of the German Alps, and maybe have a beer.

Then we head down to Konigsee for a boat trip to St. Bartholomew or head up the gondola to the top of the Jennerbahn.

Afterwards we head back to Salzburg to enjoy our last night. The rooftop bar at our hotel might just be place!

We’re up early to drive back to Munich and catch our flight home! Coach departs at 5:45 AM
