Bring the sunscreen as we indulge in the sunny delights of Portugal! Take in the sights, sounds, and incredible flavors as we spend a week in Porto and Lisbon. This one is for the history lovers, the wine aficionados, foodies, and pleasure seekers in general! We’ll be staying three nights in UNESCO world heritage site Porto and four nights in beautiful Lisbon. Day trips include a wine tour and lunch in the Douro Valley, stops in Aviero, Nazare, and Obidos, and a visit to Sintra!

Price includes round trip air fare from Toronto to Porto and from Lisbon to Toronto and ALL fuel surcharges and departure taxes, three nights at the Sheraton Porto Hotel and Spa, and four nights at the Sheraton Lisboa Hotel and Spa, both conveniently located to keep you within walking distance of everything, private motorcoach transfers throughout Portugal, full breakfast each morning, Walking tours of Porto, (including the Lello Bookstore) and Lisbon (Belem, etc), and a pre-departure orientation (Details TBD) before we go! Should that not be enough; and an optional trip to Evora is possible!

DAY ONE - Friday, October 3rd

Flight SATA flight 322 from Toronto YYZ at 8:40 PM to PDL/PDL to OPO at 8:40 AM. Hop on board as we head to Toronto to catch our flight(s) to Porto! Quick flight change in the Azores.

(Bus transportation in Canada to YYZ possible)

DAY TWO - Saturday, October 4th

Arrive at 11:40 in Porto, check our bags at the hotel, and head out for a walking tour of the Old City. Keep an eye out for a dinner spot as local delights of bacalao, franceshina, and cachorrinho await.

DAY THREE - Sunday, October 5th

Breakfast at hotel. We’re off to the Douro Valley for a tour and lunch at Quinta do Seixo. Take in the idyllic landscape as we sample some delicious port and local fare. Back mid-afternoon to walk the town. Night on own.

DAY FOUR - Monday, October 6th

Breakfast at hotel. You’re on your own to enjoy Porto. Maybe take a boat tour on the Douro River, visit the port wineries over the famous Dom Luis I Bridge? Great shopping, food and drink to take in!

DAY FIVE - Tuesday, October 7th

Breakfast at hotel. Today we head down to Lisbon and take in some of the Wonders of Portugal along the way! Stops in Aveiro “The Venice of Portugal”, beautiful seaside Nazare for lunch, ancient Obidos in the afternoon, and finally Lisbon for dinner!

DAY SIX - Wednesday, October 8th

Breakfast at hotel. This morning we hop in the coach for a tour of the Portuguese capital! Tour includes Belem, Castello San Jorge and more. By early afternoon we return to enjoy the afternoon and evening in Lisbon.

DAY SEVEN - Thursday, October 9th

Breakfast at hotel. Off we go to take in the UNESCO heritage site of Sintra! We will spend the day taking in the sights of this beautiful town, as well as visiting the Quinta de Regaleira. Back to Lisbon for dinner!

DAY EIGHT - Friday, October 10th

Breakfast at hotel. Relaxing off day in Lisbon! Maybe explore the Elevador San Justa, or perhaps the incredible Botanical Gardens? But if you need more, there’s an optional tour of Evora that you can partake in with our guides! (Not included in package, details to follow)

DAY NINE - Saturday, October 11th

Breakfast at hotel. Today we return to Toronto! We’ll depart the hotel at 10:00 AM for 12:35 PM LIS to YYZ via PDL Arrive in Toronto at 7:30 PM.

We recommend you consider an investment in Trip Insurance (usually about $230 per person) to provide for a return of your trip payment in the case of sickness, etc.

Price based on Double Occupancy, Single supplements are available for an additional $500. (Bring a friend!)

Land-Only Packages are available for $2,350.

After full payment, any potential for cancellation reimbursement is subject to the trip re-filling to its maximum 45 people per coach, and subject to change fees at the minimum.
